Competitive Team
The Competitive Team is a group of 45-50 dancers that represent Tammy’s Dance Company at Regional and National Dance Competitions.
The students range in age from 3 years old – 18 years old.
Along with fundamental studio classes, the students also participate in extra classes. These extra classes include small group competition class, large group competition class, solo, duet/trio class, leaps and turns class, stretch and technique class.
Most competitive students are at the studio 3- 5 days per week.
The advantage to being on the Competitive Team is that all competitive classes are attended by only competitive students. Thus, the students receive a considerable amount of one on one time with an instructor.
Currently, we attend 5-7 Regional Competitions, February- May. We attend 1 National Competition.
The students are required to take summer classes June - August.
