Showbiz-Feb. 10-12

The Competitive Team is a group of chosen students that represent TDC at regional and national dance competitions. The students range in age from 3 - 18.

Along with fundamental studio classes, the students also participate in extra classes. These extra classes include small group competition class, large group competition class, solo, duet/trio class, leaps and turns class, and skills classes.

Most competitive students are at the studio 2-3 days per week. The advantage to being on the team is that all competitive classes are attended by only competitive students. Thus, the students receive a considerable amount of one on one time with an instructor.

Currently, we attend 6-7 regional competitions, January - May. We attend 2 national competitions.

The students are required to take summer classes June - August.
